Hi,
I tried both Tivimate (with very large buffer set) and IPTV Smarters Pro (again largest available buffer) and both of them buffer from time to time. I use a Firestick 4k to run those on my TV, with a Wifi 6 router and a 300mbs connection.
On my ARM Mac, I installed Lilly Player, same connection and IPTV provider, no lag. One difference I can see is that it seems to be 5 seconds behind live by default (which is fine for me), giving it time to buffer seemlessly, something the "very large buffer" setting on Tivimate doesn't seem to achieve efficiently. When I try to get closer to live on Lilly Player (2 seconds) there are quick freezes from time to time.
Is there anything I can do to get lag free streaming from my TV without having to plug my computer to it? This has been my temporary solution but it's inconvenient as I can't use my remote to change channels and the Lilly Player is unstable on Mac, crashing at times.
Any other app than Tivimate/IPTV Smarters that would let me configure a larger buffer maybe?
Thanks a lot
