Reliable set up

Evening everyone,


I have been using IPTV for a long time now, always on a Firestick but with various providers over the years.

We are moving home and I am wanting to add a set up to the bedroom, rather than a firestick I was thinking of upgrading and looking at a Magbox or similar and then trying a few new companies to get the best sevice.
The internet is stable and always about 100mb minimum.

What device do people recommend when upgrading from a Firestick, I was considering the Mag 524 or possibly Firecube?

Straight up firecube, wouldn't bother at all with the mag boxes doesn't matter what version. As many providers are coming away from it and as I can see you are in the United Kingdom. I strongly advise to use a VPN and unfortunately you can't add a VPN on mag boxes.

Is there a big difference between the 4k firestick and Firecube? Is it worth paying a bit more for the cube?

For streaming 4K Standard or 4K Max, Firecube is more for gaming is well as streaming. All have good storage and speed however

Just a tip though
A 4K Fire TV Stick will work with a non-4K TV. However, it will be limited to the non-4K TV's max resolution (likely 1920 x 1080). It won't be able to deliver 4K or high-definition picture, since non-4K TVs don't support HDR.
